That’s exactly what it felt like during Allison and Brandon’s Columbus engagement session at the Ohio Statehouse.
From the very first few minutes, we could tell—these two are just a breath of fresh air. So easy to be around. So joyful. The kind of couple that simply enjoys being together, and you can feel it in every moment.
Allison wore the prettiest white dress that moved so effortlessly with every step, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for this downtown Columbus, Ohio engagement session. Clean, timeless, and elegant in a way that felt completely natural to her. And Brandon… the way he looked at her the entire session said everything.

They technically met the very first week of college… except Allison doesn’t remember it. Brandon did though—and he didn’t give up. Every single day, without fail, he said hi to her walking to and from class. For three months. Just simple, consistent hellos that slowly became something more.
But the moment everything truly shifted feels like it’s straight out of a movie.
Brandon was in their dorm lobby playing ping-pong with his friends. Allison walked in and decided to finally say hi. Right as she did, Brandon froze mid-swing, completely missed the ball, and everything just paused for a second. Everyone laughed, he turned bright red, and in that exact moment… their worlds finally collided.
From there, everything clicked.
They went from that moment to spending time together every day for 21 days—full of laughter, long conversations, and the kind of connection that just keeps growing. The kind where you start to realize this might be something really special.
And honestly, it makes so much sense the moment you’re around them.
Whether it’s the way they naturally fall into step together, the way they laugh mid-conversation, or the way Brandon looks at Allison like he still can’t believe she’s his… it all feels so genuine. They talked about parking lot dances, picnics, road trips—the simple, meaningful moments that have shaped their relationship.
For Allison, she knew right away after that ping-pong moment… especially when Brandon fully committed to singing and dancing to Love Story. And for Brandon, it was those 21 days straight—realizing he didn’t want a single day without her.
And the proposal somehow felt just as thoughtful as their story..
Brandon planned the sweetest setup near the lake in Celina, centered around something Allison loves most—picnics. He disguised it as a birthday weekend, had their families in on it, and led her to a quiet lakeside spot where everything was waiting. After the tears and the “yes,” they celebrated with champagne and food, soaking in the moment together before celebrating with their families later that evening.
