The doors opened, and everything was already waiting for her.
Flowers were waiting for her, a simple and meaningful detail that made the moment feel even more personal. The kind of detail that doesn’t happen by accident, but instead reflects care, intention, and a joyful kind of love.
And then she saw him.
Cole was standing there, steady and certain, in a place that already meant so much to both of them—their church. What began as a simple moment quickly unfolded into something unforgettable, as he led her forward and asked her to marry him, surrounded by meaning, faith, and the beginning of everything they had been praying for.
It was the kind of proposal that feels like it couldn’t have happened anywhere else.
We met Savannah and Cole at Ault Park in Cincinnati, Ohio on one of those early spring mornings that feels soft in every sense of the word.
The trees were just beginning to bloom, the air carried that fresh, quiet calm that comes with a new season, and the light settled gently over the park in a way that made everything feel peaceful and full of life at the same time.
It felt like the perfect place for them.
Savannah stepped out of the car in the most beautiful dress—flowy, timeless, and effortlessly elegant. It fit the setting so naturally that we assumed it had to be from somewhere special, but when we asked her about it, she smiled and shared that she had made it herself.
And somehow, that made it even more meaningful—and we were so impressed.
There’s something about Savannah and Cole that feels steady and grounded in the best way.
They met through a mutual friend at church, and from the very beginning, their relationship was rooted in intention. They shared with us that after their very first date, they both approached what they were building with clarity and prayer, knowing they were pursuing something lasting.
You can see that in the way they are together.
It’s in the way they naturally fall into step with each other as they walk, the way they laugh easily, and the way they hold each other with a sense of comfort that feels both joyful and peaceful.
As we moved through Ault Park, guiding them into the most beautiful light and letting the morning unfold naturally, everything felt connected. The blooming trees, the open paths, and the soft glow of the sun all came together in a way that felt effortless.
At one point, they brought out something that will also be part of their wedding day—their Bible.
They shared that they plan to have guests highlight their favorite verses inside, creating something they will carry with them into their marriage long after the wedding day has passed. It was such a meaningful reflection of who they are and what they value, and getting to document that part of their story felt incredibly special.
It wasn’t just something they included for their session—it was already part of their foundation.
Savannah and Cole have a way of making you feel welcomed into their world, and by the end of the evening, we found ourselves feeling genuinely grateful—not just for the photos we created, but for the time we shared with them.
Savannah and Cole, there is something so beautiful about the way your relationship is rooted in faith, intention, and joy. Getting to witness even a small part of your story felt like such a gift, and we already know your wedding day will carry that same meaning and beauty into every moment. We truly cannot wait for it.
